Adjusting to these changes made me grow as an individual. I am Afro-Caribbean but I do not leave out the fact that I am of Asian, African, as well as European descent. Growing up on the island of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, I had a very predominantly Black environment. Relocating to New York City for college on the Upper East Side, my environment changed completely to predominantly White. Sharing my story as well as other who are multi-racial is my ultimate goal of this entire platform. Acknowledging the triumphs and struggles of these individuals can give a better understanding to all viewers. Thank you
